John Warren commented: "Six riders arrived at Union Hall to 15C temperature, sunny, and a heavy 20-25 kph SW breeze. All riders finished. In spite of the conditions, fastest rider was Colin Campbell (OBC) in a Season Best time of 22:09. Fastest female was Celia McInnis (ABC) on a time of 27:07. Ian Austen had a Course Best time of 24:53."
Celia added: Hey, maybe there were some more season best performances if we count the extra distance some of us travelled sideways - Let's see, last week without the side gusts, I did the 15km in 26:09 - that is 34.417km/h, so if I did 34.417km/h this week for 27:07, that would be 15.6km. Hmmmm - blown 600 meters to the side? Well maybe not, but feel free to play around with the TT calculator.

Our fall road clean-up to continue the ABC Adopt-a-Road for Tatlock Road will take place on Wed. Sept. 22. We need helpers to clean debris from Wolf Grove Rd, south 2 km to Miller Rd; meet at Union Hall at 6:00 pm.
As we wind down the Time Trial season, please note that the ABC Awards Dinner will take place at the Union Hall on Saturday, November 6, at 6:00 pm.
